Whatsapp, at present, is testing the always mute option for android users of Whatsapp which enables you to mute the conversations forever.

In what comes as a new feature that is getting tested in a beta version by the officials of Whatsapp, android users might soon be able to see ‘always mute’ in the mute option of WhatsApp chats.

It might take a few days to reach the beta testers on Android. Facebook-owned Whatsapp is also testing the media guidelines in the newly released beta version of android which is 2.20.201.10.

The information was leaked by Whatsapp tracking fan site WABetaInfo.

In this update, Whatsapp will enable users to mute any conversation forever in addition to the options like a mute for an hour or 8 hours or even 1 year that exists at present.

The always mute feature will be rolled out for a few beta testers of Android and it might take time to teach many of them.

The facebook owned comfy messaging platform is also in its work to hide the voice and video call buttons in chats with verified business accounts.

These options will be disappeared from the contact information too. However, these buttons will still be available when the user taps the profile icon in the contact list or the chat list.

On its webpage, WABetaInfo added that already call buttons are unavailable for verified business Whatsapp accounts.

Whatsapp is also rolling out another feature called media guidelines that would allow the users to align stickers and text whenever they edit an image, video or GIF.

Facebook’s Whatsapp had earlier this month also started on working to bring wallpaper customization features for Android users that brings the ability to set different wallpapers for different chat boxes as well as the company is looking to give an option to the users to change the opacity of wallpaper they want to set as.

WABetaInfo posted in its web page that Whatsapp is working to allow customization of the app by the users by making the chats look better and also the wallpapers.

After receiving this upgrade on their Android phones, Whatsapp users can set the opacity of the wallpaper and also add Whatsapp doodles.

Whatsapp’s customization of wallpapers for different chat boxes is a unique feature that is hoped to loved and used by many.
