
American actress Mia Farrows adopted son Thaddeus, from an Indian orphanage in 1994 shortly after her divorce from Woody Allen. Thaddeus has died in a car accident in Connecticut. He was 27 years old while died.
The accident happened on Wednesday and police had been investigating the fatal crash.
A news platform, reported that state troops responded to the scene and found Thaddeus critically injured in his car on Route 67 at around 12.45PM. Thaddeus was rushed to the Danbury Hospital where he was pronounced dead at around 2.30 PM.
More details around the accident haven't been released. Police said that there 'was no criminal aspect' to Thaddeus's death. Law enforcement officials confirmed to the paper that it was the son of Mia, known for 'John and Mary' and 'The Great Gatsby' who had died.
She is the mother of four biological and seven adopted children. Thaddeus's reported death would be the third adopted child she has lost. Tam died from heart failure in 2000 and Lark Previn died in 2008. She adopted Thaddeus from an orphanage in Kolkata, and he was a paraplegic due to polio.
Thaddeus had spoken about being adopted by Mia in a 2013 interview with Vanity Fair, "It was scary to be brought to a world of people whose language I did not understand, with different skin colours. The fact that everyone loved me was a new experience, overwhelming at first."
