On Thursday, India reported a jump of 35.22 percent of the cases in the daily coronavirus cases. As per the reports from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 3712 new cases of coronavirus are reported and the positivity rate came up to 0.84 percent and it was 0.60 percent on Wednesday. The weekly positivity rate reported is 0.67 percent and India reported 2745 new cases of coronavirus yesterday and the active cases increased to 18,386. Mumbai alone reported 739 new cases of coronavirus and this is the highest since February 4th. There were no fatalities reported due to coronavirus. The total cases of coronavirus reported in India are said to be 4,31,64,544.

There are 19,509 active cases of Covid-19 as of today and the total number of recoveries climbed to 4,26,20,394. The death toll in India climbed to 5,24,641. The total tests for coronavirus conducted in India are 85,13,38,595 and the total vaccination doses administered are 1,93,70,51,104. The doses given in India yesterday are 12,44,298. The active cases comprise of 0.04 percent of the total reported cases. The recovery rate in India stands at 98.74 percent as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana and Karnataka are the states that reported high number of cases in the country. The government of India asked the people to be extra cautious as the cases are increasing.
