A total number of 15,823 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of cases reported till date in India are said to be 3,40,01,743. With 22,844 new recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries in the country reached 3,33,42,901. 226 new deaths are reported in India and the total number of deaths till date after the pandemic started reached 4,51,189. The active cases in the country dropped down further and they reached 2,07,653. The total number of doses of coronavirus vaccination administered in India are said to be 96,43,79,212 and 50,63,845 doses are given in the last 24 hours.

The wave of coronavirus seems to be coming down in Kerala and the state reported 7823 new cases along with 106 new deaths in the last 24 hours. The coronavirus vaccine for children aged between 2 and 18 years have been approved and they will be available in the market very soon. The active cases of coronavirus comprise of 0.61 percent of the total reported infections since March 2020. The active caseload in India is lowest in the last 214 days in India. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested yesterday are said to be 13,25,399 and the total samples tested in the nation till date are 58,63,63,442. The national recovery rate for coronavirus is said to be 98.06 percent.
